Plumpton College’s 5G private network is now live, marking the second site to adopt advanced digital tools and data driven decision making within growing practice and education in Sussex.
The college is developing horticulture and viticulture use cases to showcase how digital technology can improve productivity, sustainability, and resilience in a global marketplace. By putting education at the heart of the project we are seeking to grow a digitally skilled workforce to drive demand for commercial investment in advanced wireless and digital technologies to support growers, whether under glass, in fields or vineyards.
