Brinsbury College is the latest site to go live with a private 5G network on campus, joining Plumpton College in East Sussex.

Growing Sussex is helping students get to grips with sustainable practice in growing food and drink through collaboration with the project’s commercial growing partners, West Sussex Growers Association and University of Brighton to ensure a qualified, digitally skilled workforce is prepared for the future of Agri-Tech.
Paul Burry, Head of Learning, explained that being able to use the same data to drive decision making along with commercial growers benefits both the businesses and the college: “Collaborating with the commercial growers can benefit our students hugely for exposure to growing conditions and the commercial industry. It’s really important we work side by side with commercial growers as we are providing the horticulturalists of the future and we are offering students the opportunity to use similar technologies to make growing more efficient, effective and sustainable.”
GROWING SUSSEX
